Atlanticans

The origins of the Atlanticans go back thousands of years to even before the cataclysmic elemental wars. Since that time the Kingdom of Atlantica has advaned and expanded in the deepest parts of the Earth. Hidden from the surface by sheer distance and crushing pressures. In the year 1983 of the Democracy calendar, Atlantica launched a well-planned surprise attack on the Democracy and many of its allies. With its superior technology and by complete surprise much of the Democracy was overrun in the first few months of the war. Victory after victory seemed to prove that King Gills was indeed divinity incarnate. But so fast was the victory some pockets of determined resistance started to cause issues for the Atlanticans. The final defeat came when the Valiants arrived and allied themselves with the Democracy defenders driving the Atlanticans back into the sea. Since that time the King has been rebuilding and reorganising his forces. King Gills now has arguably the most powerful military force on the planet.
