STRATEGY RATING
Nobody waits their turn
Models activate in an order set by the characters you picked — your opponent might move three in a row before you move one. Choosing that order is the game.
ENERGY POINTS
Everything costs
Moving, shooting, defending and surviving all come out of one pool. Spend it attacking and you may not have it when you're hit.
SUPER ABILITIES
Everyone has a trick
Turn into a tank and shell the enemy — but give up your movement. Resurrect a fallen kaiju. Every choice has a cost.
PICK A SIDE
Seventeen factions
Every faction plays differently. Pick one you like the look of, or compare them all side by side first.

The widest variety of unit types of any force in the game.

Powerful dragon alt-forms

Each C.O.I.L.S force could look and feel wildly different depending what General you choose to lead your force.

Powerful Beastnoble Alt Forms, immovable Stone golems

Getting all the elements of the force to work together is a challenge but very powerful when it works.

Used correctly this force will shut down your opponents reliance on big general class hitters with lots of energy.

Evil fire elementals

The Corrupted: zombie bots in a horde

Any scarcity of terrain will see this force dominate at long range. Great Symbiotes allow the Mercs to make the most of their artillery forms.

This force has very little reliance on energy as they are all organic creatures, however they have the tools to really put pressure on the opponents energy game.

A strong tanky faction that requires extra thought when allocating energy in the Power Up Phase. If down correctly they are hard to beat.

Fast and agile with good shooting, perfect for those wishing to avoid close combat.

Blue Energy allowing for fast movement and hit and run tactics

Scouting and hidden deployment

Faction with the longest short range attacks in the game
